Role:
As a Regional Director of Academic Solutions at ProctorU, you will have overall responsibility of driving revenue growth and account retention in the higher education market within an assigned region. Encompassing new business sales, existing customer growth, and regional customer success leadership collaboration, you will provide leadership and strategic direction to for all growth and client retention activities in the region. Reporting to the Vice President of Sale and Customer Success - North America, this role requires long-term thinking as well as a short-term execution mindset. Things you will do:
Develop strategic, regional and client specific plans for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals Report out results from regional and client specific plans during quarterly business reviews Develop value propositions to differentiate our products and maintain market position Architect creative deal strategies to uniquely offer solutions to clients Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting for both net new and existing clients Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership Expand and secure our relationships with our most strategic accounts Continually evaluate the effectiveness of the sales methods and program as whole and recalibrate sales strategies Monitor sales activities to ensure progress in sales close cycle and act promptly on areas that require attention and correction Facilitate and assist in closing deals, especially with strategic customers Develop and manage account specific growth and retention plans. Work closely with Customer Success team to ensure that growth and retention strategies are implemented and successful Craft and lead quarterly business reviews in concert with the customer success manager for appropriate accounts Perform gap analysis between initial commitments and actual sales delivered and highlight learnings and adjustments to sales approach with the goal of coming up with appropriate actions to bridge the gaps and a more accurate future commitment/projection Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships Create and deliver sales presentations at partner universities and at educational conferences across the US and internationally The experiences you'll need:
Proven experience as a Sales Leader or similar executive role:
exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others to perform and achieve results within a diverse team A proven track record and demonstrated success leading teams selling solution platform/ SAAS / Cloud enterprise class software and services to enterprise class companies Strong, tested sales experience and leadership in organizations that drive growth in revenue, number of customers and lifetime value of customers Strong execution focus and ability to develop solutions and strategies to further accelerate growth Executive level interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to successfully influence and quickly build credibility to maximize organizational growth and profitability Ability to foresee, interpret and rapidly respond to market changes by adjusting strategies and realigning priorities accordingly Progressive, hands-on sales leadership experience including significant experience and proven ability to drive double digit sales/business growth Track record of personally developing and closing deals of significant size Strong business and analytical acumen; strong problem-solving skills Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Sales Management & Operations, SalesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
