Role Summary:
The Senior Analytics Consultant is responsible for delivery of productivity solutions for GE's healthcare clients. Analytics Consulting is an exciting discipline combining traditional consulting with analytics disciplines such as data science, statistics, simulation and predictive modeling.
Essential Responsibilities:
Engagements follow a problem back approach, leveraging interviews and data mining to align clients around high-value problem statements, then designing targeted solutions to improve performance. Project types include designing efficient healthcare facilities, re-configuring existing capacity for patient throughput and experience, improving health system utilization and implementing real-time analytics in command centers to dynamically optimize coordination of patient care.
Independently collect, validate, analyze and synthesize data to support engagement objectives.
Facilitate effective, cross-functional design sessions with clients and GE stakeholders.
Develop expertise and utilize advanced analytics across many domains.
Serve as a professional representative of GE Healthcare in all public and client settings.
Participating in Knowledge Management activities as directed.
Leading effective, cross-functional working sessions with clients and GE stakeholders.
Establishing credibility and developing relationships with mid-level and executive client managers both technical (IT) and Clinical.
Serving as a GE liaison to the client for day-to-day engagement delivery and engagement updates.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, Math or Statistics, or other related discipline.
2+ years' experience leading and managing projects with outcome focused deliverables
Experience with analytic techniques: regression analysis, simulation modeling, timeseries
forecasting, hypothesis testing using R, SAS or similar software.
Experience programming in Java, C# or similar production level language applied to data
management, algorithms and automation.
Proven ability to accomplish large volume of high quality work under pressure.
Potential to lead the design of processes & protocols.
Proficiency Excel, Power Point and MS Project.
Proficiency in Tableau, Qlik or similar.
Proficiency in SQL.
Proficiency or willingness to quickly learn discrete event simulation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to excel working in teams.
Ability to travel minimum 75%.
Desired Characteristics:
Graduate degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering, Math or Statistics or related discipline.
2+ years of experience in either advisory services/consulting.
Strong awareness and understanding of the Healthcare industry and major trends in the geography in which client projects are delivered.
Demonstrated experience in driving change using Change Management tools.
Demonstrated experience in LEAN or Six Sigma tools.
Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills.
Demonstrate an aptitude for critical thinking to included evaluation of ideas and synthesizing information into insights.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
